Planning assured of succeeding in the Coral Essex Vase ? 3rd Semi-Final

Romford will stage the third semi-final of the Coral Essex Vase on Friday, 7th December. Trying their luck with the total prize money of ?200 are, Darian Chief, Westmead Maldini, Fabulous Adele, Parkwest Leo, Bubbly Rossie and Planning. Even though the second trap, Westmead Maldini, has been declared the evening?s favourite, the 7 to 4 shot for the race, Planning, is more likely to take back the prize money to the kennel.

The Mark Wallis trained, Planning, has been unbeaten in his last two attempts at the open races, both of which had him entered as the favourite. He will race in the black and white of the sixth trap tonight.

The favourite entry concluded the 575 metres trip of the Coral, Bet By Phone 0800 242 232 Maiden Stayers in 35.65 seconds on 23rd November, 2012 at Romford.

He was quick to distance himself from the rest of the lot, he focused in the middle of the track and the lead to which he remained sincere got him to the other end before any of the rest could race through.

He defeated Stress Force by an amazing 9 ? lengths.

The two-year-old brindle dog then extended his form in the very first heat of the Coral Essex Vase on 30th November, 2012 at Romford over 575 metres.

Planning once again broke free from the sixth trap and was difficult to contain from the very beginning of the race.

The favourite entry drew clear very soon and then covered as much ground as possible on the wide end. The two-year-old out of, January Dew, picked up the lead and remained firm on it until he made the transit in 35.24 seconds.

Missing the winner?s prize money of the race due to the gap of 4 ? lengths was, Darian Chief.

The Mark Wallis conditioned started racing just this season and has accumulated experience at Yarmouth, Hove, Sittingbourne, Coventry and Romford.

He knows just the trick to land the race when taking off from the last trap in the row. The two-year-old has done it before and will be the one tonight whom each one will have to look out for.
